Although gender gap is a topic that has been researched quite frequently lately, most papers and talks are focused on global terms and big economies like the US, EU or the UK. But what is the reality for developing countries and some specific industries?
This talk will be focused on an income survey for Paraguayan designers and its main finding: the staggering gender gap within the industry.
We will explore how the research was performed, the different perspectives on when it comes to gender gap discussion and how the gender gap within Paraguay's design industry perform against other researches on a global scale.
Lastly, we will discuss the meaningful impact these findings can have on communities and the design industry itself.
