Athang Samant is a design student currently pursuing his MDes from IDC School of Design at IIT Bombay. He grew up in the small town of Nasik and took interest in Drawing and lettering at a young age. He was formally introduced to typography and type design during his graduation. India is a country with hundreds of languages and almost just as many scripts. He chose to pursue his academics in Indic typefaces and their History.
