Carlos Campos is a graphic designer and typography teacher at the "José Nogué" School of Arts in the city of Jaén (Andalusia, Spain). Co-founder with Viky Rodríguez of the event “Órbitas. Encuentro con creativos estelares”, that it celebrates in the same city, and also promoter of “Cuchi, ¡qué tipo!” (“Hey, what a type/man!”), that are casual events in Andalusia dedicated to promote the typography culture (this name is a wordplay, in spanish “tipo” means both type and man)”. With another colleague (Juan Montoro), Carlos is also currently working in the investigation and recovery of street and traditional lettersigns in the city of Jaén, as a university project called “Rótulos chuléricos de Jaén” (“Cool lettersigns from Jaén”).
In his free time he also designs typefaces and works as a community manager of his little cute dog “Kora Ampersand”.
