Douglas Thomas is a graphic designer, writer, and historian. His design work has been featured in Communication Arts, Print, Graphis, and Eye. He holds an MFA in graphic design from the Maryland Institute College of Art, where he also taught graphic design and an MA in history from the University of Chicago. He is the author of Never Use Futura (Princeton Architectural Press, 2017).
