Irina Koryagina is a graphic designer based in New York City, specializing in brand identities, publications, environmental graphics, wayfinding and signage, custom lettering and type, exhibitions, websites, and more. She works both independently and as a collaborator on bigger teams, providing freelance support to studios and agencies.
Born and raised in Novosibirsk, Russia, the self-proclaimed capital of Siberia, she relocated to New York City in 2014. Prior to going freelance, she held full-time roles at Pentagram and C&G Partners, working with clients like Citigroup, New York State Parks, JP Morgan Chase, Foster+Partners, The Smithsonian Institution, and others. She received a MFA in Graphic Design from Novosibirsk Academy of Architecture and Fine Arts, and completed a residency in Type Design at SVA.
