Kriti Monga is a creative strategist for brands, graphic designer, illustrator and design educator in New Delhi, with an obsession for all things type and hand-crafted. She is the founding director of Turmeric Design and a partner at Quick Brown Fox Design, both amongst India’s leading independent brand design studios. Her personal body of work with lettering and typography, type installations and illustrated travel journals explore a visual and tactile vocabulary that is at once playful and thoughtful. Her ‘Typerventions’, collaborative modular-type installations in public spaces, have become a popular learning tool and workshop for enthusiasts. She teaches courses and workshops in Design, Illustration, Typography and Design Management around the world and holds several honours and awards, including an honourable mention at SOTA’s Catalyst Award in 2011.
