Maria Galante is an Adjunct professor at Merrimack College, Bunker Hill Community College and teaches 11th/12th grade Design and Visual Communications at Minuteman High School. She introduces graphic design as a form of visual communication through the use of type, image, form and color using Adobe Creative Cloud. Also, students learn interactive media, animation, video and photography. As an Adjunct, Maria educates students in 2-Dimensional Design, as well. Maria has been teaching for ten years preceded by a career as an art director/senior graphic designer in the Internet & financial services industries. She has presented/mentored at AIGA/Boston and presented each summer at Massachusetts Association of Vocational Administrators Conference. Maria’s education includes: Graduate Certificate in UX/UI, Master in Education, BFA in graphic design, and MA professional teaching license.
