Olivia Kane is a freelance graphic designer, letterer, and contributor at The League of Moveable Type. She moved to NYC to attend Pratt Institute for her BFA in Communications Design and has been living and working there ever since. While she specifically has a deep-seated love of letterforms, she has worked as a designer across several industries including publishing, advertising, event design, and education.
Before freelancing, she worked with the talented folks at Penguin Random House and David Stark Design where she worked on projects for clients like Target, The Whitney Museum, The Apollo Theater and The New York Public Library.
Every week she co-hosts The League of Moveable Type's podcast, The Weekly Typographic, where she discusses the latest in type and design news and also shares her favorite tidbits of design history.
