Sulekha Rajkumar is an an independent graphic designer, type designer and lettering artist based in Mumbai. Prior to this she was Senior Design Director at Ray+Keshavan | Brand Union (India). She has over the course of twelve years, designed and led branding projects across various sectors – on brands such as Vistara, Mother Diary, Yardley, Cipla and Micromax to name a few.
As a type designer, she designs fonts in Latin and Bengali scripts. She has co-designed fonts such as Baloo (Latin) and Baloo Da (Bengali) and designed Sama (Latin).
She has conducted numerous talks and workshops on lettering, type design and branding and is a member of the visiting faculty at design institutes, namely Srishti Institute of Design, Bangalore. Her work has been featured in the Dieline, Pool Magazine and has won awards at D&AD and Kyoorius Design Awards.
